As this part of the junket winds down, I took a nostalgic look around my neighborhood. Here’s what I saw.
Local merchants on the block keeping things tidy.
The pastry shop nearby…she makes homemade potato chips.
Look in the window.
Sidewalk dress shop across the street.
Neighborhood hangout serving all kinds of goodies. People eating here do not share a pizza. Everyone eats his or her own pie.
Fun interior……good eats…and the service is perfecto.
Seafood Risotto.
Generous drinks for 3.50 Euro.
Smiles all around.
The short walk back home.
Well, there you have it…not fancy, but altogether wonderful. This Unseasoned Traveler is very fond of this neighborhood.
