Fun thoughts from Thursday night. Dinner tonight was tasty, but for the past 5 weeks I have been eating fun dinners. Here’ the twist, we’re eating Italian food in Virginia. I thought it would be fun to compare eating in Italy to eating in Virginia. Here goes.
Final dinner in Rome on Tuesday night.
Sensational spaghetti carbonarra at a little restaurant named Miscele e Fuoco, literally around the corner from the Colosseum.
Mozzarella buffalo e pomodoro pizza….tutti sanza glutine.
And of course, a spritz.
Thursday’s dinner stateside at Ciao, a great place in Centerville, Virginia, looks a lot like the dinners that Florence offers. Take a peek.
Starting with this great dish.
Quattro Formaggi Pizza.….delish.
Verace Pizza with San Marzano tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella cheese covered with basil. Let me add that these are their sanza glutine (gluten free) offerings.
And the ever present refreshing beverage.
Here we are, finding adventures right here at home….not bad!!!! Love as always, The Unseasoned Traveler.
Love following your adventures Jackie!
