A Picture Is Worth Lots

The city of Amsterdam on a bright and brisk Easter Sunday morning is just right for visiting the site where Henry Hudson set off on his great adventure…..

or for strolling your favorite canal like this one…

or this one….

or perhaps this one….

or my favorite one.

Try to admire a little spring flora.

Hang at a weekend street fair.

Take in a life sized work of Rembrandt’s The Night Watch.

Befriend some dogs or a cat.

Have a treat.

Renew your relationship with a world class museum.

Take time to follow directions. There is a fine if you don’t.

Ride a bike. Bikes rule the road here; it’s the only way to travel.

Amsterdam offers many choices for a bright and sunny Sunday morning, and all of them are sensational.

  1. I am so much enjoying your photos! The pictures are really good and I love the captions! Miss you. Harry had a mountain biking accident and broke his shoulder, clavicle and five ribs! He is going to be alright though! Have fun! I look forward to seeing you when you return.
