Greetings!

Welcome to my first blog post, and, hopefully, the start of a fun junket for all of us. First, let me say that it is miraculous that I am finally writing and feeling somewhat confident about the blog process. I am giving a number of super big shout outs to some very special people. Thanks to Tammy Warner for generously giving me some meaningful, personal advice on travel in Italy. Thanks to all the kind folks at AAA…especially my travel agent and new friend, Tammy Tancayo, for helping this unseasoned traveler every step of the way in making this trip the trip of a lifetime. Thanks to Geoff McLean, the pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church and all around cool guy for patiently introducing me to the adventures of blogging and making me feel as though I can be a successful, first time blogger. Thanks to my fearless daughter, Ashleigh, for agreeing to be my traveling companion on this junket…it is beyond special when an adult child and parent really want to make memories together. Thanks to my exceptional husband, Bruce, who lovingly is just fine with me taking this bold journey. Finally, thanks in advance to all of you who will support this blog by following it. Remember, I am a first time blogger….but I will be committed to doing it…..I appreciate you hanging in there with me.
