Well, D Day is just about here…that is D for departure. Yes, after months of planning and replanning and overplanning, we are finally ready to go. Tickets have been purchased, flights have been booked, bags have been packed and weighed; documents have been secured. This unseasoned traveler feels she has not forgotten anything. This is a feeling which certainly means I have. While I am mentally going over my to do list, I thought you’d like to see some of the memorable things that brought me to D Day….Such as making my living and dining rooms look as though they exploded clothes.
orrrrrrrrrrrr
Discovering a hoard of uncounted coins in jars and piggy banks, which, when rolled, amounted to almost $600.00.
Spending a fair number of Tuesday afternoons visiting with my travel agent and shopping at AAA….wonderfully useful travel goodies can be found there…in addition, Tuesday is discount day. …Irresistible.
The unexpected distraction of having to spend money on a computer when you are already spending quite enough money…..
Always take time to see the cherry blossoms, even if time seems to be closing in on you.
Well, there you have it. The clock just struck 1am. It is now the day of…..next stop, Sorrento. The Unseasoned Traveler is about to get some experience.
